Krabi
Krabi is a southern province of Thailand on the Andaman Sea.
Krabi's area is 4,709 sq. km largely and the coast line is 130 km long. The provincial administration also covers more than 125 islands off the coast in the Andaman Sea.
Natural forest cover is chiefly mangrove and Cassia trees. Krabi's sandy clay soil conditions are perfect for a variety of agricultural products, including rubber trees, palms, mangos, coconuts, and coffee.
There are other streams as well Ko Hong or Ko Lanta and the Khlong Krabi Noi in the province with highest range of mountains. This would be the province much stream of tourists.
Krabi weather is the tropical monsoon with just two
seasons, the hot season from January to April, and the rainy season from May to December. Temperatures range between 20° and 37° Celsius. This province is famous for very old pottery which is
dated 27,000 to 37,000 years old. Also stone tools and cave drawings were found. This is probably the oldest inhabited part of Thailand. The archeologic remains are shown in the Wat Klong
